Vancouver Florist - Terms and conditions
- Delivery for public institutions
- For deliveries to public institutions, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and hotels, we need to have the complete information, including the name of the institution, the address, phone- and the room number with the name of guest / recipient.
Please be informed that the most of the institutions might not allow a direct room delivery and therefore our local florist will need to leave the flowers at the reception.
The hotel reception or front office staff might refuse to take flowers if they do not recognise the recipient. The flowers can get lost in reception or front office. In those cases, Internetflorist.biz will not be responsible and there will be no refund given.

- At Vancouver Florist, we are committed to making your flower and gift delivery experience as seamless as possible. To achieve this, we have outlined some essential terms and conditions that provide clarity on our procedures and policies. Please review these guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful flower delivery to your desired recipient.
- Delivery to Public Institutions
- For deliveries to public institutions, such as hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and hotels, we kindly request complete information. This includes:
- The name of the institution.
- The full address.
- A contact phone number.
- The room number along with the name of the guest or recipient.
Please be aware that many institutions may not permit direct room deliveries. In such cases, our local florist will leave the flowers at the institution's reception. It's important to note that some hotel reception or front office staff may refuse to accept flowers if they are not familiar with the recipient. This can sometimes result in flowers being misplaced at the reception or front office. In these instances, Internetflorist.biz cannot assume responsibility, and no refunds will be provided.
Variations in Flowers/Products
The images displayed on our website are system images intended for reference purposes only. The actual delivered flowers may appear slightly different. While we make every effort to match the flower colors as closely as possible, variations may occur, including differences in shade when compared to the website image. Additionally, depending on the availability on the day of delivery, we reserve the right to replace unavailable flower colors with suitable alternatives of the same or greater value to maintain the essence of your original request. Certain flower and plant products may be delivered in bud form to ensure a longer life. Furthermore, packaging, boxes, or vases may be subject to change based on their availability on the day of delivery.
Extra Gifts (Add-Ons)
When ordering additional items such as Teddy Bears, Vases, or Balloons, please be aware that they will be delivered alongside the flowers. Depending on availability, we reserve the right to provide items with color or wording variations different from the image. This does not apply to wines, which will always match the type (red, white, champagne) as ordered, with the only possible alteration being the brand name, if necessary. In the case of consumables, unavailable items will be substituted with suitable alternatives. In most instances, Extra Gifts/Cakes/Chocolates must be accompanied by a flower order. If this is not the case, a message will indicate "No Product Selected," and you will be required to add flowers to your order.
Delivery
When placing an order on internetflorist.biz, flower deliveries can typically be made by the next day. Please note that the exact delivery time cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on the availability of our florist. For specific locations, you may have the option to choose either AM or PM delivery. In the event of a local holiday or Sunday coinciding with the delivery date, the florist reserves the right to adjust the delivery day accordingly. Some delivery cutoff times may fluctuate during busy periods. On special dates like Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, different conditions may apply. During high-volume order periods, we may be unable to guarantee morning or afternoon delivery, even if you selected this option when placing your order. If your chosen delivery date is not feasible due to these high-demand periods, the florist reserves the right to deliver the order at the earliest possible time, which may extend to the following day.
Mandatory Information for Delivery
To ensure the successful delivery of your flower order, we require complete and accurate information, including the local phone number of the recipient. The florist will not contact the recipient to request delivery details. If customers fail to provide this essential information, Internetforist.biz cannot guarantee the order's delivery, and no refunds will be granted. In cases where our florist identifies an incorrect recipient address, we will make an effort to contact you. However, to confirm the delivery, we require a lead time of 2 days. For example, if your order is scheduled for the 15th of June, we need the corrected address by the 13th of June. Since customers are responsible for the accuracy of their information, Internetflorist will not be held liable if the order cannot be delivered. In such instances, no refunds will be provided.
Delivery Charges
During the order process, you may observe delivery charges displayed. These charges are determined by the area and the florist's availability for delivery. Some florists may decline deliveries to specific areas, leading to the cancellation of your order. If a flower delivery to a remote area requires an additional cost, the florist will contact you before proceeding with the delivery. In such cases, we will reach out to you to discuss the extra cost.
Recipient Not Available/Not at Home
Our florists always make an effort to contact the recipient by phone before proceeding with the delivery. In some situations, they may attempt the delivery without speaking to the recipient, or if the recipient does not answer the phone. The florist may leave the flowers with a guardian or concierge, which we consider as a successful delivery. If the recipient declines to accept the flowers for any reason, no refunds will be issued, as the florist has prepared the flowers and made delivery attempts.
Changes
Changes to the delivery address or recipient's information can only be guaranteed when submitted 2 days before the scheduled delivery date. If changes are made with short notice, Internetflorist reserves the right to cancel the order. The same principle applies to modifications of card messages. To change the message on your flower order, we must receive the updated message in writing 1 day before the delivery date. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the change will be incorporated into the order. For deliveries to hotels, hospitals, or public buildings, we cannot guarantee successful delivery, although most requested deliveries do reach the intended recipients. For deliveries to such locations, providing comprehensive information, including the room number and a phone number, is particularly important. Flowers cannot be delivered to a post box, so you must provide an alternative address, or we will need to cancel the order. If the recipient refuses the flowers, you are not entitled to a refund from internetflorist.
Same-Day Delivery
When placing an order on our website, flowers are typically available for delivery the next day. While some locations may offer same-day delivery, we cannot guarantee this service.
Late Deliveries
For any late deliveries that are beyond the control of our florists, no refunds will be provided. Late deliveries may occur if the recipient is not at home or unavailable at the provided address. Our florists will always attempt to contact the recipient by phone and make delivery arrangements.
Force Majeure
Due to unpredictable events beyond the control of our local florists and Internetflorist.biz, we cannot guarantee delivery on the requested date. This includes restrictions related to COVID-19. In such instances, the florist reserves the right to make the delivery even several days later.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your flower order, we require written cancellation requests for specific order numbers to be submitted 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Requests received after this deadline may not be guaranteed a cancellation and refund.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the service provided or the flowers received by the recipient, please submit a written complaint along with a photograph of the bouquet. Please note that we require photographs from both above and the side to fully assess the bouquet. Complaints must be received within 2 days after the delivery date. Failure to meet this timeline may result in your complaint not being considered.
Feedback & Complaints
If you're unsatisfied with our service, please send a written complaint with photos of the bouquet (from above and the side) within two days of delivery. Late complaints might not be considered.
CAKE DELIVERY
Our cakes are freshly made to order to ensure the highest quality and taste. Due to the time-sensitive and perishable nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds if the delivery attempt is unsuccessful. Once the cake has left our premises for delivery, it is considered sold and non-refundable.
Please note that the images of our cakes provided on our website or promotional materials are for reference purposes only. The exact appearance of the cake may vary slightly depending on the location and availability of certain decoration materials. While we strive to match the design as closely as possible, minor variations in decoration may occur.
DELIVERY TO POST OFFICE BOXES
Please note that we are unable to deliver orders to post office (P.O.) boxes. All deliveries require a physical address to ensure proper handling and successful delivery. By placing an order, you agree to provide a valid residential, commercial, or institutional address. In case a P.O. box address is provided, the delivery will not be successful, and a refund cannot be issued.
FLOWERS / PRODUCTS MIGHT BE SIMILAR
The images on our website are system images and for reference only and the delivered flowers may look different. Whilst every effort is made to match as closely as possible, sometimes color shades can be different to the website image.
Depending on availability on the day if an exact color is not available, we reserve the right to replace with an alternative color and if a particular flower is not available, a suitable alternative will be made to the same value or greater, to try and match as closely as possible the original request.
Certain flower and plant products may be delivered in bud to ensure longer life. Packaging, boxes or vases etc. may change depending on availability on the day.
EXTRA GIFTS (ADD ONS)
If Teddy Bear, Vase or Balloons etc. are also ordered, they will be delivered with the flowers. We reserve the right to supply the item with a change of color/wording from image, depending on availability on the day. This does not apply to wines, which will always be as ordered, red, white, champagne etc. only the brand name may change if necessary.
In regard to consumables, an unavailable item will be replaced by a similar alternative. In most cases Extra Gifts/Cakes/Chocolates have to be accompanied by Flowers. A message will advise No Product Selected if this is the case and you will need to add Flowers to your order.
DELIVERY
If you place an order on internetflorist.biz, the flowers can usually be delivered by the next day. As the delivery depends on the availability of our florist, we cannot guarantee a certain time. For some locations you will have the possibility to choose AM or PM delivery. If there is a local holiday / Sunday at the day of delivery, the florist has the right to vary the day of delivery. Some delivery cut off times may vary without notice during busy periods.
In very special dates like Valentin’s day or Mother’s Day some different conditions may apply. In periods with large volume of orders, we cannot guarantee morning or afternoon delivery, even if you we’re able to choose this option when you placed your order.
If due to such a special period delivery is not made on the day you have chosen, the florist reserves the right to deliver it at the earliest possible time. This might be even the day after.
MANDATORY INFORMATION for delivery
We need to have the full and correct information as well as the local phone number of the recipient for your flower order. The florist will not call the recipient to ask for the delivery address.
Without these information provided by the customer, Internetforist.biz cannot guarantee the delivery of the order and a refund must not be given.
When our florist realises that the recipient address is incorrect, we will try to contact you. However, a delivery can be only confirmed with a lead time of 2 days, for instance if you order is for the 15th of June, we need to have the corrected address at the 13th of June.
Since the customer is responsible for the correctness of his information, Internetflorist will not be liable if the order cannot be delivered. In this case there will be no refund of the order.
DELIVERY CHARGES
There might a delivery charge will be displayed during the order process. Delivery charges depend on the area and the availability of our florist to deliver there. Some shops might refuse certain areas, in this case the order will be cancelled.
In case you require a flower delivery in a remote area, the florist might require an extra cost for this delivery. In this case we will contact you before the delivery.
RECIPIENT NOT AVAILABLE / NOT AT HOME
Our florist always tries to contact the recipient before the delivery by phone. In some cases, they try to make the delivery without speaking to the recipient or if they do not answer the phone. The florist can make the delivery by leaving the flowers by a guardian person or concierge. This is also considered delivered.
If the recipient refuses to take the flowers for which ever reason, they can be no refund given as the florist prepared the flowers and tried to deliver.
CHANGES
A change of delivery address and or the person, where the flowers should be delivered can only be guaranteed when it is made 2 days before the delivery date.
If a change is sent with short term notice Internetflorist reserves the right to cancel the order. The same applies for changes of card message. If you want to modify the message of your flower order, we need to have it in written 1 day before the order should be delivered. Otherwise we cannot confirm the change of the text message.
If you want to send flowers to a hotel, hospital or to a public building, we cannot guarantee the delivery. However, in the most cases of requested the flowers will arrive. For a delivery to such a location the full address and a phone number is even more important. Please provide in these cases all information you have in the delivery comment field (such as room number).
Our florist cannot deliver flowers to a post box, you will need to provide an alternative address, or we need to cancel the order.
If the recipient does refuse the flowers, you have no right for a refund by internetflorist.
SAME DAY DELIVERY
If you place an order on our website, normally the flowers can be delivered the next day. Even if some locations do offer the deliver at the same day, we cannot guarantee this.
LATE DELIVERIES
For any late deliveries, which are out of control from our florist, there might be no refund for the customer. For instance, if the recipient is not at home or currently not available at the address given. However, our florist will always try to contact the recipient before by phone and to arrange a delivery.
FORCE MAJEURE
Due to any unpredictable events which are out of control from the local florist and
Internetflorist.biz, we cannot guarantee the delivery at the requested date. This includes all the current restrictions due to Covid-19. In this case the florist has the right to deliver flowers even a few days later.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your flower order, please see that we need to have this request of cancellation of your specific order number in written 48 hours before the delivery date. All cases send to us after this deadline, a cancellation and refund cannot be guaranteed.
COMPLAINTS
When you are not happy with the service provided and the flowers the recipient received, please send us a complaint in written and a picture of the bouquet. Kindly note that we need to have a picture from above and the side in order to see the full bouquet.
We must have the complaint within 2 days after the delivery date. Otherwise we may not be able to consider your complaint.
